According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy went to the Franklin County Correction Center II to take custody of Thomas W. Delaney, 43, of Grove City for an outstanding arrest warrant at 2:01 a.m. Friday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 19000 block of Raymond Road to investigate a burglary where cabinets were being stolen at 9:25 a.m. Friday. Reymi J. G. Liverte, 22, of Columbus was arrested and transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy responded to a gas station in the 23000 block of Route 4 to investigate a private property damage crash involving a 2019 Ford F250 that struck a 2014 Toyota Camry at 11:44 a.m. Friday.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 7000 block of Industrial Parkway to investigate harassing text messages at 12:36 p.m. Friday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 10000 block of Corona Lane to investigate a person threatening self-harm at 2:06 p.m. Friday.
A deputy went to a residence in the 10000 block of Horn Drive to investigate a person threatening self-harm at 3:29 p.m. Friday.
Deputies and units from the Allen Township Fire Department responded to the intersection of Maple Ridge Road and Collins Road to investigate an injury crash involving a 2008 Honda Accord and a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox at 3:46 p.m. Friday.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 12000 block of Bates Road to investigate a trespassing complaint involving vehicles that were not supposed to be on the property at 12:25 a.m. Saturday.
Deputies responded to a business in the 10000 block of U.S. 42 to investigate a dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend at 7:11 a.m. Saturday. Parties advised everything was OK.
Deputies were sent to a business in the 10000 Maple Dell Road for a person threatening self-harm at 8:51 a.m. Saturday. The person denied making threats of self-harm and refused treatment.
A deputy responded to the intersection of Industrial Parkway and Route 161 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2013 Honda Pilot and a gray Chevrolet truck at 12:05 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies and units from the Marysville Fire Department responded to the intersection of Northwest Parkway and State Route 4 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 1999 Chrysler Sebring that failed to yield onto Northwest Parkway before entering U.S. 33 at 3:30 p.m. Saturday. A 2021 Ford F-150 swerved away from hitting the Chrysler which resulted in the Ford going into the ditch and striking a stop sign. The driver on the Chrysler, Thomas B. Hash, 27, of Powell was cited for failure to yield.
A deputy as well as units from the Union Township Fire Department responded to the 9000 block of Route 38 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2012 Chevrolet Express that was traveling southbound on Route 38 when the front tire blew causing the driver to run off the road, through a ditch, and came to a stop in a driveway at 3:37 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies as well as the Marysville Fire Department, the Allen Township Fire Department, Jerome Township Fire Department, Pleasant Valley Fire Department, Northwest Joint Fire District responded to the 12000 block of Brown Moder Road for a barn fire at 3:46 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department and the Pleasant Valley Fire Department responded to a business in the 7000 block of Route 161 to investigate an injury crash involving a 2014 Dodge Caravan that backed into a 2023 Volkswagen Jetta and also struck the side of a 2013 Dodge Caravan at 5:16 p.m. Saturday. The Volkswagen was forced into a 2020 GMC Yukon after being struck by the 2014 Dodge Caravan which had a stuck accelerator.
Deputies assisted the Ohio State Highway Patrol as well as units from the Northwest Joint Fire District with an injury crash at the intersection of Storms Road and Route 347 at 6:25 p.m. Saturday. The Ohio State Highway Patrol handled the investigation.
Deputies and units from the Pleasant Valley Fire Department, Jerome Township Fire Department, Marysville Fire Department, Allen Township Fire Department and Northwest Joint Fire District responded to a residence in the 12000 block of Andrews Drive for a structure fire at 7:35 p.m. Saturday.
As a result of a traffic stop at the intersection of Route 31 and Patrick Brush Run Road, deputies arrested Michael B. Forest, 62, of Dublin for operating a vehicle while under the influence at 9:14 p.m. Saturday. He was cited for speed, driving under the influence, driving on a suspended license and failure to yield. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies assisted Plain City Police Department in an attempt to locate the rider of an ATV that had fled from the officer on duty at 1:26 a.m. Sunday. The ATV was abandoned nearby. The driver was not located.
Deputies along with personnel from Allen Township Fire Department responded to the 22000 block of Route 245 about a male that had driven off the roadway into the trees at 6:45 a.m. Sunday. Upon arrival the deputies located Justin Kreutzer, 28, of Woodstock with a gray 2014 Ford F150. Kreutzer was issued a citation for failure to control and failure to register (expired plates). It was determined that Kreutzer was not injured.
A deputy spoke to a resident in the 17000 block of Cradler Turner Road about a known person who continues to make them feel like they are being stalked at 10:26 a.m. Sunday.
A deputy responded to the 23000 block of Route 4 where a wallet was found alongside the roadway at 12:14 p.m. Sunday. The owner was contacted.
Deputies responded to a business in the 7000 block of Route 161 for a report of subjects arguing at 3:06 p.m. Sunday. Upon arrival the deputies spoke to some employees, but the parties involved were no longer present.
Deputies responded to the 15000 block of Watkins Road for a trailer that had come unhitched and flipped the boom lift it was hauling at 3:25 p.m. Sunday.
Deputies responded to the 23000 block of Holycross Epps Road for a report of a white male pointing a rifle at the roadway at 7:18 p.m. Sunday. Upon arrival deputies located the homeowner and it was determined the rifle was a BB gun.
Deputies responded to Fountaine Avenue in Magnetic Springs for a report of a domestic dispute between residents at 8:11 p.m. Sunday. After speaking to both parties involved, they decided to separate.
