Officials are looking for Vendula "Wendy” Rose, 41, of Marysville, who was last seen Sept. 24. Rose posted a “selfie” of her hiking, above. Officials believe the picture was taken and sent to friends the day before she went missing. Rose’s car, a Silver Honda Accord Ohio with the Ohio license plate “CHKS FLY,” was last seen Sept. 24, on a traffic camera in Oxford, Alabama. An aerial view of the city of Marysville from the cockpit of a T-6 Texan trainer aircraft, named ‘Checkers’, during the Union County Airport’s Oktoberfest fly-in Saturday. The T-6 Texan was the backbone for advanced pilot training for World War II and beyond. In Korea, ‘Mosquito Squadrons’ flew the aircraft into combat, marking targets for the much faster jets of the era. ‘Checkers’ comes from Kestrel Warbird Experience out of Middletown, Ohio.
