According to Plain City Police Department reports:
Officers went to North Mechanic Street in reference to a warrant service May 3 at 6:37 p.m. Officers had prior knowledge that Victoria Biggs was inside the residence and she had an entered warrant out of the Marysville Municipal Court for drug paraph...

According to Plain City Police Department reports:
Officers went to North Mechanic Street in reference to a warrant service May 3 at 6:37 p.m. Officers had prior knowledge that Victoria Biggs was inside the residence and she had an entered warrant out of the Marysville Municipal Court for drug paraphernalia. Biggs was placed into custody without incident.
An officer was dispatched to North Avenue in reference to a suspicious person May 3 at 3:39 p.m. The anonymous caller advised a subject came to their door and attempted to solicit business. The officer later made contact with Aaron Campbell and Michael Memmolo who advised they worked for Atlantic Energy and were in the area attempting to gain customers. Both were issued a summons for peddler/solicitor advised the proper way to obtain a solicitor permit.
An officer met with UCDOJFS at the police department in reference to a civil standby on North Avenue May 3 at 3:37 p.m. The officer made contact with the principal at PCES via public service who advised the children were given permission from their parents to ride the bus to a friend’s house. After determining everything to be fine, the officer returned to patrol.
On May 3 at 2:07 a.m., an officer was requested by the Union County Sheriff’s Office to Converse Road to assist a deputy with a message delivery. Upon arrival, Union County relayed a message for the Dublin Police Department. Once assistance was no longer needed, the officer then returned to patrol.
On May 4 at 3:45 a.m., an officer was sitting stationary on U.S. 42 near North Chillicothe Street when a silver 2004 Acura pulled up next to the officer and parked. The driver, Chantel Frye, exited her vehicle and approached the officer’s vehicle. Upon speaking with her, the officer smelled a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage about her person. After further investigation, Frye was placed under arrest for OVI.
An officer responded to North Chillicothe in reference to a 911 unknown May 4 at 8:21 a.m. Upon arrival, the officer made contact with the caller at campsite 16. The caller stated that he activated his cell phones emergency call by mistake. After determining that everything checked okay, the officer returned to patrol.
On May 4 at 11:32 a.m., the Pastime Park manager requested a police unit to be on site to observe and document the extraction of a camper by a tow-truck. The rollback tow-truck successfully extracted the vehicle and the camper. Deep ruts were made in the ground by the owner attempting to drive the camper out.
An officer responded to South Jefferson Avenue advising of a private property crash in the parking lot at the Der Dutchman May 4 at 3:49 p.m. The caller stated that a gold Chevy Malibu was backing from a parking space at Der Dutchman Restaurant and struck the side of her vehicle as she passed behind it.
An officer was dispatched to Taylor Road to assist the Union County Sheriff’s Office with an alarm drop May 4 at 4:23 p.m.
An officer responded to West Main Street in reference to a theft complaint May 4 at 4:33 p.m. Upon arrival, the officer made contact with the business owner who stated that a white sports coupe, driven by a female, pumped in gas and left without paying.
An officer located and made contact with a subject walking in front of Ferguson’s Funeral Home who advised he decided to walk home from a friend’s house May 4 at 11:21 p.m. The officer transported the subject home and spoke to subject’s father who advised he knew where the subject was, but thought he was going to get a ride home.
An officer observed two suspicious vehicles on South Jefferson Avenue May 4 at 12:09 a.m. The officer made contact with both subjects who advised they were just talking. Subject 1 was advised he was in violation of curfew. Subject 2 was given a warning for criminal trespass and advised his vehicle’s registration was expired. Once the officer determined everything to be okay, the officer then returned to patrol.
An officer was dispatched to South Chillicothe Street in reference to a suspicious person/vehicle May 5 at 1:22 a.m. Upon arrival, the officer made contact with the subject who advised he was parked behind the listed location because he was just previously visiting a resident at the Madison Square Apartments. The subject stated he was trying to be sneaky and parked there while he was visiting the resident. The subject was told to leave and not return.
An officer observed a sign that was struck on Route 161 May 5 at 12 a.m. The officer contacted the Village of Plain City Street Department to make them aware. The officer then returned to patrol.
Officers were dispatched to Converse Road in reference to suicide threats May 5 at 12 a.m. Officers assisted a UCSO deputy during his investigation. Once determining everything to be okay, the officers returned to patrol.
An officer was dispatched to Plain City Georgesville Road near Cemetery Pike in reference to a driving complaint May 5 at 12 p.m. The officer located the vehicle heading north on Plain City Georgesville Road near Darby Fields Blvd. The officer observed the driver and owner of the vehicle to be Hugh Butler. Upon further investigation, Butler was placed into custody for OVI. He was issued a citation for OVI, OVI concentration and driving under suspension outside restrictions/privileges.
An officer responded to West First Avenue in reference to a recovered bicycle May 5 at 12:40 p.m. The subject stated that the black Huffy bike had been leaning against the church for several weeks now and no one has come to claim it. The officer secured the bike in his cruiser and later placed it into the Police Department’s storage space. The officer then returned to patrol.
An officer was dispatched to Pastime Park in reference to a dispute over a camper space May 5 at 5:24 p.m. Upon arrival, the officer spoke with the complainant who advised she had paid for lot 33 and it was currently occupied by another camper. The park manager was advised of all communications and advised that she would be closing the campgrounds due to excessive conditions. The officer then returned to patrol.
Officer was dispatched to Pastime Park in reference to a dispute over a camper space May 5 at 5:24 p.m. Upon arrival, the officer spoke with the complainant who advised she had paid for lot 33 and it was currently occupied by another camper. The officer then spoke with subject who occupied lot 33 and subject stated that he was originally on lot 34 but the ground was too loose to support his camper, so he moved to lot 33. Both parties agreed to the status quo until the park manager could provide an amenable solution. The park manager was advised of all communications and advised that she would be closing the campgrounds due to excessive conditions.
Officers were requested to assist Union County Sheriff’s Office in reference to an alarm drop on Route 161 May 5 at 8:12 p.m. Once assistance was no longer needed, the officers then returned to patrol.
An officer was dispatched to North Avenue to complete a well-being check Mat 5 at 12 a.m. The officers met the subject who denied wanting to harm himself advising he’s fine just depressed with his recent alcohol-related incidents. The officer advised the subject to contact the Police Department if he needs any assistance. The officers then returned to patrol.
An officer was requested to assist the medic on North Chillicothe with a patient experiencing a mental health episode May 6 at 2:27 p.m.
On May 6 at 4:12 p.m., an officer met with complainant on West Main Street who advised the officer that an unknown individual made withdraws from the bank account. The officer advised the complainant to change the account number and provided her with information from the Attorney General’s Office and advised complainant to visit the Attorney General’s web page to learn more tips on preventing this type of incident in the future.
Officers responded to Doe Street in reference to an unconscious male May 6 at 8:37 p.m. Upon arrival, the officer made contact with the caller who stated that subject began to shake while the two were watching T.V. and then went unconscious. The officers observed that subject did not appear to be breathing and had a slight pulse. The officers performed CPR until the medic arrived and transported the subject to the hospital.
An officer was flagged down on South Jefferson Avenue by the subject in reference to found passport May 6 at 9:50 p.m. The officer then made contact with the property owner via public service. The property owner met the officer at the Police Department a short time later and took possession of his passport.
An officer went to Maple Street in response to a possible suicide attempt May 8 at 4:25 p.m. The police were contacted by a complainant via phone advising that she was concerned for her daughter’s safety who had attempted suicide several times in the past. The complainant advised that she had spoken with her daughter’s therapist and they advised that the subject should be brought in to the hospital as soon as possible. A short time later, the subject was placed into custody. The officer road in the back of medic at the medic’s request. The subject was released to the staff at the hospital.
An officer was dispatched to West Main Street in reference to a non-injury, private property accident May 8 at 1:27 p.m. Upon arrival, the officer met the subject who was driving a silver 2006 Honda Ridgeline. The subject advised he thought he had enough clearance to maneuver his vehicle but struck the black bollard with the passenger side of his vehicle. This caused significant damage to the subject’s vehicle, but minimal (paint transfer) to the bollard.
On May 8 at 12:15 p.m., an officer responded to U.S. 42 and Route 161 on the report of an injury crash. Upon arrival, the officer met with the drivers of both vehicles. Subject 1 who was driving a blue Chevy truck advised he was southbound on U.S. 42 north and had a green light as he approached the intersection. Subject 1 proceeded through the intersection and struck the rear of a car that was toward the tail end of a funeral procession. Subject 1 was able to drive his truck from the scene, but subject 2’s van was towed from the scene. Due to the circumstances of the crash with subject 1 having a green light, there allegedly being a gap between the cars in the funeral procession, and the obstructed view from cars in the left turning lane, no citation was issued.
A UCSO deputy requested assistance on a traffic stop for a K-9 sniff on U.S. 33 near Route 161 May 9 at 1:33 a.m. After assistance was no longer needed, the officer returned to patrol.
An officer was requested to Perry Pike to assist the fire department there on a lift assist May 9 at 6:47 a.m. After assistance was no longer needed, the officer returned to patrol.
An officer met with a manager on South Jefferson Avenue May 9 at 4:12 p.m. The manager advised the officer that an ex-employee was stealing from the business.
An officer responded to Gray Street in reference to a parking complaint May 9 at 7:07 p.m. The anonymous complainant advised a white van had two flat tires and had been parked on the roadway for several days without moving. Upon arrival, the officer made contact with the subject who advised the vehicle belonged to his son and he would have him move it as soon as possible.
On North Chillicothe Street May 9 at 7:25 p.m., an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a suspicious person. The caller advised they observed an elderly female walking near the porch of the listed location. The caller advised the female vacated the area prior to the officer’s arrival. The officer patrolled the area but was unable to locate anyone matching the suspicious person’s description.
On May 9 at 12:44 a.m., an officer was requested by the UCSO to assist with a consent search out of a traffic stop on U.S. 33 near Route 161.
An officer was dispatched in reference to narcotics that were found on South Jefferson Avenue May 10 at 9:32 p.m. The officer made contact with the complainant who advised she observed an unknown black substance consistent with heroin fall out of another employee’s pocket.
Officers were dispatched to South Chillicothe Street in reference to a suspicious vehicle May 19 at 1:24 a.m. Dispatch advised the caller stated there was yelling coming from a vehicle on the roadway.The caller said the yelling was so loud it woke him up. Upon arrival, the officer made contact with the occupants of a 2010 Chevy Malibu who advised there wasn’t any sort of dispute.
On May 10 at 5:55 p.m., an officer was met at the Police Department by male subject who requested a civil standby. The subject requested the officer standby while the female subject dropped off their grandson.
An officer responded to West Main Street in reference to a parking complaint May 10 at 4:20 p.m. Upon arrival, the officer met with the caller who advised the officer that the vehicles left prior to the officer’s arrival. Upon determining everything to be okay, the officer returned to patrol.
