According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Mitchell Thomas Jones, 26, of Plain City, was charged with disorderly conduct/public intoxication in the 200 block of East Eighth Street Wednesday at 10:33 p.m.
Police responded to a report of suspected elder abuse in the 600 block of Meadows Drive Wednesday at 3:25 p.m.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department, Marysville Fire Department and the Pleasant Valley Fire District responded to a property in the 13000 block of Fladt Road to investigate an injury crash involving a 2006 Ford Expedition that drove through a field, into a ditch, and then caught fire Wednesday at 8:46 p.m. One person was transported to Memorial Hospital and a second person was transported to Riverside Hospital.
A deputy responded to the U.S. 33 westbound exit ramp to Route 739 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2016 Buick Regal that struck the back of a 2016 Honda Civic Tuesday at 6:58 a.m.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 28000 block of Lunda Road to investigate threatening text messages Tuesday at 10:20 a.m.
A deputy investigated an email harassment complaint that occurred at a county building in the 800 block of East Fifth Street Wednesday at 10:52 a.m.
A deputy responded to the roundabout at Old Industrial Parkway and Industrial Parkway to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2007 Ford Crown Victoria and a 2000 Volvo S70 Tuesday at 11:09 a.m.
Deputies assisted Marysville Police Officers with a possible abduction that occurred in the 1300 block of Millstone Drive Tuesday at 2:52 p.m.
A deputy responded to the railroad crossing on Converse Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a semi that struck a crossing gate and then left the scene Tuesday at 3:01 p.m.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 15000 block of Valleyview Drive to investigate possible identity theft involving a credit card company Tuesday at 7:53 p.m.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 25000 block of Ford Reed Road for an intoxicated person causing a disturbance Tuesday at 8:45 p.m. The person was transported to Memorial Hospital.
Deputies investigated a domestic dispute between a mother and son that occurred at a residence in the 15000 block of Payne Road Tuesday at 9:21 p.m.
A deputy responded to Bear Swamp Road near Benton Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2006 Toyota Corolla that drove off the road and struck a railroad sign Wednesday at 7:34 a.m.
Deputies and a Marysville Police Officer were sent to a hotel in the 400 block of Allenby Drive for a person threatening self-harm Wednesday at 10:21 a.m. The person was transported to Mary Haven.
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department responded to a residence in the 9100 Warner Road for an unresponsive person Wednesday at 2:43 p.m. The person was pronounced deceased and the Union County Coroner was called to the scene.
A deputy responded to a business in the 8100 block of Business Way to investigate a property damage crash involving a parked 2017 Audi Q5 that was struck by an unknown vehicle Wednesday at 2:56 p.m.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 16000 block of Wheeler Green Road to investigate a protection order violation Wednesday at 4:03 p.m.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 10000 block of Route 736 for an unruly juvenile Wednesday at 6:45 p.m.
A deputy met with a Columbus Police Officer to take custody of Eric L. Hamilton, 43, of Marysville, for an outstanding arrest warrant Wednesday at 6:47 p.m. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
