Man claims he rummaged through home seeking “cuddle” as reward

A local man who allegedly broke into a woman’s home wanting to “snuggle” with her has been indicted.

The Union County Grand Jury has indicted David A. Downey, 49, of 16637 Wheeler Green Road. Downey is charged with one count of burglary and one count of petty theft.
