The City of Marysville will pay a third of the construction costs for the Mill Creek logjam project, according to an agreement between the city and the county approved Monday. Both entities will be using American Rescue Plan Act money to cover those costs, which had to be appropriated by the final day of the year. Crews have already started removing trees like the ones shown above which have created hundreds of logjams along the creek. (Photo submitted)
