Police responded to a report of suspicious conditions in the 800 block of Delaware Avenue at 10:24 a.m. Thursday.
Police responded to a report of recovered property on U.S. 33 at 3:32 p.m. Thursday.
Police responded to a suicide threat in the 700 block of Kenny Lane at 1:34 p.m. Thursday.
Police responded to a suicide attempt at an unlisted address at 1:16 p.m. Thursday.
Police responded to a report of an animal complaint in the 100 block of Foxfire Drive at 5:01 p.m. Thursday.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Susan A. Chongson, 67, of Grand Avenue and Samantha Stinemetz, 36, of Urbana that occurred on West Sixth Street at 9:52 p.m. Thursday. Reports indicate Chongson was driving westbound on Sixth Street and stopped at a stop sign at the intersection with Maple Street. She failed to yield from the stop sign and proceeded into the intersection, where she was struck by Stinemetz. Neither driver experienced any apparent injuries. Chongson was cited for operation of a vehicle at stop signs.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Pleasant Street in Milford Center for a person threatening self-harm at 6:14 a.m. Thursday.
A deputy responded to Watkins Road, east of State Road, to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2024 Chevrolet Colorado that struck a deer at 7:27 a.m. Thursday.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 14000 block of Watkins Road to investigate the theft and forgery of checks at 1:21 p.m. Thursday. As a result of the investigation, Hannah G. Chandler, 24, of Columbus, was arrested for an outstanding warrant from Franklin County. She was turned over to a Franklin County Deputy and no report was taken.
A deputy met with a Columbus Police Department officer to take custody of Courtney R. Marcum, 31, of Liberty Center, for an outstanding arrest warrant at 5:14 p.m. Thursday. The arrestee was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies investigated the possible theft of a golf club that occurred at a golf course in the 13000 block of Route 38 at 8:36 p.m. Thursday.
