Suspect who fired gun uptown in custody

A shooting suspect has turned himself in to police.

Michael McPherson, 33, of 1096 Rosewood Drive, turned himself into police at about 7:55 a.m., Monday.

McPherson is charged with misdemeanor counts of aggravated menacing, assault and discharging a firearm within the city.
