Officials are looking for Vendula "Wendy” Rose, 41, of Marysville, who was last seen Sept. 24. Rose posted a “selfie” of her hiking, above. Officials believe the picture was taken and sent to friends the day before she went missing. Rose’s car, a Silver Honda Accord Ohio with the Ohio license plate “CHKS FLY,” was last seen Sept. 24, on a traffic camera in Oxford, Alabama. The car was found last week near the Cheaha State Park in Alabama. (Photo submitted)

An aerial view of the city of Marysville from the cockpit of a T-6 Texan trainer aircraft, named ‘Checkers’, during the Union County Airport’s Oktoberfest fly-in Saturday. The T-6 Texan was the backbone for advanced pilot training for World War II and beyond.
