FHS’ Eger ties for eighth during D-II boys state golf tournament

Cole Eger of Fairbanks shot a two-round score of 154 during the boys state golf tournament that was held at Firestone Country Club in Akron.

The Division II tournament was conducted Sunday and Monday.

Eger carded a 79 during the 18-hole first round.

The Fairbanks senior followed with a 75 on Monday.
