From Marysville Police reports:

Justin M. Valdez, 18, of Marysville, was cited for failure to control. At 3:53 p.m., Monday, Valdez was driving a 2004 Toyota Corolla on London Avenue when he lost control and went off the roadway to the right, damaging two mailboxes, a tree and a city light pole. No injuries were reported.

Nicholas A. Powell, 39, of Columbus, was arrested on Grove Street at Collins Avenue at 2:49 p.m., Tuesday, and charged with driving under suspended license for failure to pay child support.

Police responded to the 15700 block of U.S. 36 at 8:55 a.m., Tuesday, for a report of a dispute. The case is marked as closed.

At 10:13 a.m., Tuesday, police responded to the 1200 block of West Fifth Street on a report of telecommunication harassment. The case is marked as closed.

Police responded to the 1800 block of Deer Crossing Drive for a report of a mental health issue at 12 p.m., Tuesday.

At 1 p.m., Tuesday, police responded to the 1800 block of Deer Crossing Drive for a report of a mental health issue.

Police responded to the 800 block of Amrine Mill Road at midnight on Tuesday for a report of an incident involving a child and tobacco products. The case status is marked as cleared.

Police responded to the 1800 block Deer Crossing at 5:35 p.m., Tuesday, for a report of a dispute. The case is marked as closed.

From Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:

A deputy was dispatched to the 14000 block of Claibourne Road to take possession of a found bicycle. A report was taken.

At 10:55 a.m., Tuesday, a deputy was dispatched to a business in the 7000 block of Route 161 to investigate a private property damage crash involving a 2020 Buick Encore that struck a 2020 Chevrolet Traverse. A crash report was taken.

A deputy was dispatched to a business in the 8000 block of Estates Court at 1:44 p.m., Tuesday, to investigate damage to a semi-trailer. No report was taken.

A deputy was dispatched to a business in the 8000 block of Warner Road at 2:14 p.m., Tuesday, to investigate a report of a lost social security card. No report was taken.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 13000 block of Hinton Mill Road at 2:42 p.m., Tuesday, to investigate a domestic dispute between two females. No report was taken.

A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 10000 block of Honeysuckle Way at 2:43 p.m., Tuesday, to investigate a hit-skip property damage crash involving a 2017 Volkswagen Passat that was struck by an unknown vehicle. No report was taken.

A deputy went to the Franklin County Jail at 5:18 p.m., Tuesday, to take custody of De’Vaughn Eugene Davis, 28, of Columbus, on an outstanding warrant. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.

Deputies were dispatched to a business on North Mill Street at 6:29 p.m., Tuesday, to investigate the theft of cleaning products. A report was taken.

A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 8000 block of Fireside Drive at 6:53 p.m., Tuesday, to investigate a theft of packages. No report was taken.

At 7:40 p.m., Tuesday, a deputy went to the Franklin County Jail to take custody of James Allen Monroe Jr., 24, of Marysville, on an outstanding arrest warrant. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 11000 block of U.S. 36 at 8:01 p.m., Tuesday, to investigate the theft of medication. As a result of the investigation, a deputy took possession of found drug paraphernalia. A report was taken.

A deputy at Fairbanks High School investigated a private property damage crash at 8:35 p.m., Tuesday, involving a 2017 Buick Enclave and a 2017 Honda Civic. No report was taken.

Deputies responded to a residence in the 18000 block of Easton Road at 11:42 p.m., Tuesday, for a person threatening self-harm. No report was taken.
