Police responded to the 200 block of Ash Street at 10:44 p.m., Tuesday, for a report of a dispute at a home. The case is marked as closed.
At 9:28 p.m., Tuesday, police were dispatched to a home in the 500 block of Summer Tree Loop for a report of criminal damaging of a mailbox. The case is marked as closed.
Richard Ryan Hughes, 46, of Bellefontaine, was arrested at 1010 Charles Lane and Delaware Avenue at 8:11 p.m., Tuesday, and charged with non compliance suspension.
Police responded to the 17700 block of Route 31 and Northwoods Drive at 7:27 p.m., Tuesday, on a medical EMS assist. The case is marked as closed.
At 4:57 p.m., Tuesday, police responded to the 800 block of Watkins Glen Boulevard for a report of theft without consent. The case is marked as closed.
In the 1000 block of Rosewood Drive at 3:59 p.m., Tuesday, police investigated a report of telecommunication harassment at a home. The case is marked as open.
Police responded to the 100 block of Grove Street at 1:21 p.m., Tuesday, for a report of identity theft. The case is marked as closed.
Police recovered a stolen vehicle in the 800 block of Watkins Glen Boulevard at 7:06 a.m., Wednesday. The case is marked as closed.
At 7:10 a.m., Wednesday, police responded to the 800 block of Watkins Glen Boulevard for a report of a motor vehicle theft. The case is marked as closed.
Anna M. Arnold, 54, of Marysville, was cited for starting and backing without safety following a property damage crash. At 7:07 a.m., Tuesday, Arnold was driving a Marysville Schools bus on Bay Laurel Drive heading toward Mill Wood Boulevard. Arnold was stopped at the stop sign and reversing to give another school bus more room to turn, striking a 2023 Honda Accord stopped behind the bus. It is unknown how many students were on the bus and there were no reports of any injuries.
Ricky A. Lamarr, 31, of Columbus, was cited for failure to drive in marked lanes following a property damage crash. At 1:52 p.m., Tuesday, Lamarr was driving a 2016 Mack truck left from westbound Delaware Avenue to Charles lane. A 2006 Honda Accord was in the left turn lane of Charles lane waiting to turn left. As Lamarr passed the Honda, the truck trailer sideswiped the vehicle. No injuries were reported.
From Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
At 7:21 a.m., Tuesday, a deputy went to Wayne County, Michigan, to take custody of Derek M. Grill, 33, of Taylor, Michigan, for an outstanding arrest warrant. Grill was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A Union County deputy met with a Hardin County deputy at 9:18 a.m., Tuesday, to take custody of Rachel A. Bordner, 42, of Waynesfield, for an outstanding arrest warrant. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies assisted the Plain City Police Department with a theft in progress from a business on South Jefferson Avenue in Plain City at 9:58 a.m., Tuesday.
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department and the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to Route 42 near Industrial Parkway at 10:11 a.m., Tuesday, to investigate a possible injury crash involving a 2019 Honda Civic that drove off the roadway and struck a utility pole and trees. The Ohio State Highway Patrol handled the crash investigation.
A deputy met with a resident from the 14000 block of State Road at 3:22 p.m., Tuesday, to investigate a possible violation of a protection order. A report was taken.
A deputy investigated a dispute between an estranged husband and wife at a residence in the 21000 block of Route 739 at 5:35 p.m., Tuesday. As a result of the investigation, the deputy was apprised of telecommunications harassment. A report was taken.
At 5:50 p.m., Tuesday, a deputy went to the Allen County Jail to take custody of Daniel G. Miller, 37, of Bellefontaine, for an outstanding arrest warrant. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 13000 block of Route 47 at 6:47 p.m., Tuesday, to investigate a suspicious phone call made to the Union County Sheriff’s Office. As a result of the investigation, deputies were advised of a dispute between parties at the home and no report was taken.
At 9:10 p.m., Tuesday, deputies were dispatched to a home in the 18000 block of Mill Road for a report of an unruly and missing juvenile. The juvenile returned home and a report was taken.
