Marysville High School’s softball program dedicated a victory bell in the memory of former player Kelly Holmes. Holmes, a 1993 graduate of MHS, died unexpectedly two years ago from a brain aneurysm. She was a four-year softball letter winner and earned league and Central District honors during her career. She was a member of the 1993 team that posted a 23-2 record and earned a berth in the state Final Four. Members of the 1993 team donated the victory bell that was dedicated on Saturday. Pictured from left are Holmes’ parents Tom and Shelley, teammates Amy Wolford Pack, Kerri Alexander Duncan, Mandy Snyder Foreman, long-time head coach Larry Fox and teammates Christy Miller Lee, Andrea Knisely Wolfe and Nikki Heminger Sniveley.
